魔帝

lol, a really cute extract ^_^

lol, i'm currently reading 魔帝

so i shall give a review for it to promote it!

lol, instead of japanese manga,

this is a KOREAN manga!

interesting isn't it?

yupps, Korea also hav nice manga (:

here's a link for those interested in reading

http://www.vodm.com/intro/8563.shtml#online

lol, u can forget abt reading bk16 and 17

cos it's all in korean!

SUMMARY

魔帝 was a deathgod

who once held formidable power

which he brought to the underworld even after he die

However, he was too powerful and held too much of a threat

therefore, the hade king sealed his power

and he had to do the hade king's bidding

*the hade king was a slave driver btw, poor魔帝!*

while his power was sealed, he appeared as a 15/16 yr old boy only.

One day, 6 魔人 escaped from the underworld

to the human world.

Thus begin 魔帝's quest to the human world to destroy the bodies in which these 魔人 occupied.

REFLECTIONS

lol, as u've guessed

the storyline is pretty typical

what makes this manga stand out from others *aside from e overabandance of muscles*

is probably the exciting way in which the author depicted each scene!

This series is an overload of fights and more fights

but u can rest assured that unlike bleach and naruto,

half of the fights are pretty fast

prob cos 魔帝 is so powerful (:

of cos, what we love so much abt bleach and naruto fights are not lost in 魔帝

e other half of the fights are pretty hardcore n really exciting (:

AND,

what is a manga without humour?

this series has the right amount of humour injected at the right parts

魔帝 himself is a walking joker!

He is jus such a dynamic character!

->violent *all the time*

->powerful *all the time*

->sadistic

->sympathic *but nvr doing much to help*

->sensitive

->righteous

To add to the depth,

appropriate dark parts are introduced

魔帝 and his friends' dark past

and the enemies seemed to have a hidden agenda which have yet been revealed at bk 17

overall,

a fast pace series which will have u picking up bk after bk (:

*ps: dont b deterred by the overabundance of muscles,

it's still gt gd illustrations

which is highly expressive and the facial features are actually quite pretty!

not to mention the cute chibi cartoons (:*
