Anyway the movie screening this year was ok~~ though it has not rally been carried out pretty smoothly ..hmm ....

BUT, JFIRE is goin to hav a japanese language efficiency course !!! WHEE !!! =D

IN ADDITION, we will hav one of the game stations nx yr ard jan for 2009 batch jc1 !
n the game we will be carrying out is still..... a secret ! XD

Following that, JFIRE will be preparing for the school CCA exhibition 2009 !
Recruiting yet another yr of new members.

these wooden toys were wrapped in toilet rolls and construction paper. and ribbons. really cute animals. they dance if you press the base from the bottom! pauline's orange hippo's head was far too huge to fit in a toilet roll. so it had a wierd shape.hmmm. hope you guys liked them...i wonder who got the tiger...

yea, one jfire meeting before the farewell, we were chased to go home soon after we discussed all the necessary stuff. We refused, since it was our last meeting with them, so we stayed on..
We soon observed isolation ( hahas! ) and they went to a corner and had a very interesting talk going on. They seemed enthusiatic in they way they speaked and i thought, woah, they can really run the club. phew! we need not worry much =)

p.s. we have confidence in you all!!





gone were the days where we can stay on every friday for jfire meeting, watching interesting anime and jdrama with the rest and getting the ideas we have to become reality.

( p.s. manga productions jiayou! yea and the cosplay!! and the j-dance!! go people you all can do it. )

Not long, we receive an invitation card from our lovely ( you girls are really sweet. i was touched okay.hahas so was ah paul. ) juniors and was surprised that it was actually planned. the card was indeed a job well done and i wondered what to expect on that day..



Whee! yea and that day came and we were greeted with ballons popping in our face. LOL. we didn't dare go in. But considering they had such an idea, it really hyped us up and we seniors went high, high up and above.

hey, huiling here..

was thinking wanna update on our outing. our first outing with the J1s. yup.

heehs, i wanna post pictures nehh but really hope you all dun mind la, ok?

warning: do not be too conscious of yourself. you look absolutely fine!!

okies, firstly, here is myyyyy bento set. lol.

it is soba(cold noodles) and tempura, accompanied with salad, orange, pickled vegetables and wasabe i have no use for ( since no raw meat mah).

it is really sumo-like can, lol, super big portions. i was full. plus, it is at an incredible price of $5.90. though it is not as nice as other jap food i have eaten, it was worth every cent. lols.

this is our president pauline and janice, enjoying their meal. sorry for such a shot because i know that both of you will never and i mean never pose nicely for me to take a pic of you girls. its okay, u look natural here =).

here is amelia aka mei nu, our vp. lol she sat opposite me, so take pic alone lol. yum yum, she and her tempura with udon. though the tempura is soaked, but she seems to enjoy it still. happy little girl ^^.

now, sujun and vanessa. lol, they were quite shocked la when i asked them to smile for a picture. at least they were spontaneous enough. heehs.

this is a special close-up to vanessa's sushi and udon set. see how large is the sushi!! >< ( you can compare it with the size of the tea cup in the pic.. )

plus, see the ball of wasabe beside the sushi. lol, they were saying that it looked like play dough?

yea. later, i think i was too bloated and didn't take anymore photos. Yixuan, Ruixuan and Michelle also joined us later.

though it wasn't very exciting an outing, but i felt it was a good break from the weekly meetings we hold in the classroom of nanyang jc. lol. we found the way to sumo house with a map, courtesy of xinni. overall, it was good.

random: see the circled people? lol they are none other than our fellow jfire members namely pauline, janice, vanessa and sujun. they walk very slow can. amelia and i have to wait for them to catch up and to take a pic of them lol. they walk a step, then stop to talk and the cycle goes on till they stroll all the way to amk hub. interesting! lol ><

i suggest we shall have another outing and go eat again.. lol i want spicy ramen!!!^^ loves. hahas but pauline says they taste like maggie mee. so different i feel.

whether ramen or not, we are still going streetfest right? be free on that day! ( so cool i wanna see streetfest but have no idea how i am going to fit in with the non-jappy clothes i haf, or we dun haf to dress up? )

Story synopsis (stolen from wikipedia AGAIN):

Abe no Masahiro is the grandson of the great onmyouji Abe no Seimei, who passed his teachings on to his grandson. Masahiro lost his sixth sense and the ability to see spirits because his grandfather sealed it away for his own safety, but with Mokkun (or Guren) as his guide, he works to become the best onmyouji ever!
Little by little, Masahiro reveals his true power, with Mokkun as his protector and the other shikigami slowly starting to acknowledge him as Seimei's successor. Trying hard to become the best onmyouji, to surpass his grandfather-"the old fox demon" or "kitsune"- he has to stop the foreign demons who came from China and keep his promise of protecting the princess of the Fujiwara Clan.After defeating the demons from China, Masahiro returns back to his normal routine. However, a mysterious woman named Kazune comes and summons a vengeful spirit to wreck havoc in the capital(Aka Kyoto). It is later discovered that her purpose is to kill Masahiro's grandfather, Who she thought killed her parents. Now Seimei and Masahiro have to deal with this new opponent.

YAY! Congratz to me! I finally endure sickness, lack of sleep, missing homeworks to finish the Anime MONSTER. Freaking 74 epidsode in 2 weeks time. Almost died doing so. HEhe. Super happy right now. Oh, by the way is Pauline here :)



Monster is a very different anime from the usual ones I watch. It is kind of exciting, terrifying and yet it is one of the most meaningful anime you can ever find. It shows you aspects of different views in life and it is so mentally challenging. It is not the kind of anime which you will just laugh and forget. This anime strucks you deeps in terms of emotionally and spirtually. It is a must watch for all those who enjoy knowing more about deepness in a story rather than just the plot.

The latest Bleach movie, Bleach Movie 2- Bleach:The Diamond Dust Rebellion is out already?! It's released in Japan on 22 Dec 2007- TWO DAYS AFTER HITSUGAYA-TAICHOU'S BIRTHDAY♥ *cough* ok. erm that last line isn't necessary ^_^ Right right it's old news. right. *rolls eyes* you guys must have seen the movie previews in the last few episode openings of Bleach right? RIGHT?! *fangirls* OMG HITSUGAYA ROX♥ ok. random again.

episode synopsis-

When an artifact known as the "Kingdom Treasure Stamp" is stolen during transport from Soul Society, Tōshirō Hitsugaya goes to retrieve it. Hitsugaya goes missing after a battle with the thieves, leading Seireitei to suspect him of treachery. They order his immediate capture and execution. Unwilling to believe that he is capable of such a crime, Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Rangiku Matsumoto, and Renji Abarai set out to find Hitsugaya and clear his name.
Meanwhile, Hitsugaya is still searching for the thieves, and stumbles upon a dark secret involving a shinigami long thought dead, a man named Kusaka Sōjirō. He was a good friend and rival to Hitsugaya when they were young.

HEHE i think everyone is brain dead by the time they read this. (DO PPL EVEN READ THIS?!) anyway- another thing about the Bleach movie- the DVD is only OUT IN JAPAN on Sept this year (if i rmb and read right) so yeah- Bleach (and Hitsugaya) fans in Singapore can practically DIE/ROT waiting to watch the movie. dang. know this is one reason i wish i were born in japan >D OMG TOUSHIROU I WANNA WATCH YOUR MOVIE NOW!!!!! *gets frozen by hyourinmaru*
